Due to the launch of the “Move to iOS” application, Android users can easily switch all their data from their old Android device (phone or tablet) to their new Apple device (iPhone or iPad). As long the data is compatible with the Apple device, the user will see no problem in the transfer of his data. However, if the Apple device is not running IOS 9 or higher than that, then the user will not be able to transfer his data unless he has iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, or iPhone 11 Pro Max.

To transfer data from an Android device to the Apple device, the user can go through the following steps:
- The user will select the option “Apps & Data”, after setting up his new Apple device.
- Then he would select the option “Move Data from Android”.
- After that, the user will go to the google play store on his old Android device and search for the application “Move to iOS”.
- Then he would select and install the application.
- After installing, the user would open the iPhone action and then tap “Continue” on both devices to move further.
- Then the user would come across a 12-digit code on his Apple device, which he will type in his Android device.
- After entering the code, the two devices will connect through a Wi-Fi connection.
- After that, the Android device will ask the user what kind of data he wants transfer to his new phone.
- Then the Android device will transfer all the data, selected by the user, into the new Apple device.
- Then the devices will get disconnected and the user can move on to setting up the rest of his new iPhone.
