Oppo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has yet to confirm a launch date. If this story is true, though, a major announcement might be made soon. On the Chinese equivalent of Facebook, Weibo, the leaker Tipster shared a new piece of information on the subject. Apart from the debut date, the leaker revealed a slew of technical details.
Surprisingly, Oppo revealed that the foldable phone, which has yet to be named, will include an 8-inch internal folding display. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate and will employ an LTPO AMOLED display. Samsung’s unique display technology is known as LTPO. Samsung, a South Korean company, has announced that it will support Oppo on the screen.

According to a previous rumor, the foldable Oppo would feature the same design as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, allowing it to transform into a tablet from the middle. He also discussed other parts of the phone, such as the camera, which can use a Sony IMX766 sensor with a resolution of 50 megapixels.
Oppo has revealed that its next foldable smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU, according to the source. However, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 will have already been released by the time the business releases this smartphone.
As a result, the foldable phone’s chipset will be a little older, and it will run on an earlier version of Android. This difference, however, will not be significant, and given that this would be the company’s first foldable phone, a tried and tested chipset is considered to be the best option.
Oppo has confirmed the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset in its forthcoming foldable smartphone, according to the tipster. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 898, however, will have already been released by the time the business sells this smartphone.
