On YouTube, there are a lot of free movies and TV shows that you can watch. There are a few banner ads here and there. However, it might be hard to find them.
However, ad-supported movies were already a feature, and this is the first time it has also been used for TV shows. 1,500 movies and 10 TV shows are now in the new repertoire.
In a blog post dated March 23, YouTube announced the next big thing:
These movies and series are available on the YouTube on TV app on web browsers, mobile devices, and most connected TVs in the United States. Up to 100 new titles are added each week, and there are up to 500 movies and series to choose from each month.

YouTube is very popular, but the site has made it more difficult for people to find and choose new things to watch.
Only a few hundred ad-supported movies and TV shows are shown on YouTube’s “free to watch” section. The algorithm hides the rest.

Rather than a link to the whole YouTube collection, Mashable was informed by a YouTube official, that customers are given a personalized selection of videos. As soon as people start tuning in or as new titles arrive, the shelves will be rearranged.
The representative also said:
There are more than 1,500 free movies and more than 100 TV shows that can be seen and searched for. The titles show up on your home page, the next thing to watch option, and the movies and shows area, which can all be changed.
1,500 movies from Warner Bros. and other companies are available for customers to search for or browse through using the search function on the platform.
